Quick Start

It is advisable to create an OS user that can access the file system paths / file shares you would like to traverse. This user should have read permissions for both the data and security attributes of files on those paths.

The File System Connector accesses files and folders through the user that runs the Connector-JVM. As such you need to run the File System Connector under that user.
